Remix follow a Colour Responsible Policy for the safety and peace of mind of our clients.
We use testing and screening to check suitability for the colouring products we provide. Any colour service at Remix will require one of the following. You may choose either;
For your first AAT with Remix, or if it is 6 months since your last AAT; make an appointment to attend the salon at least 48 hours before your colour appointment. We will apply a small amount of colour formula to the inside of your elbow. Leave for 48 hours, should you experience any signs of irritation, reddening, inflammation or itching please contact us. If you develop symptoms that make you unwell, please contact a medical professional. When you attend the salon, we will observe the test site and ask you to complete a questionnaire. Subsequent colour services may not require an AAT test subject to screening questions. The AAT test MUST be repeated every 6 months which may be subject to change. This service is free of charge.
Please sign up at Colourstart.com and create your passport which is free. Answer the simple screening questions and you will be informed if you are suitable to use Colourstart. Buy your Colourstart Patch from us for £15 and apply following the instructions . Upload your results to your online passport. Share your results with Remix– (we are registered with Colourstart). Once you have created your passport and completed your first test, subsequent colour treatments require you to answer the screening questions only – testing again with a Colourstart test may not be necessary unless something changes. Your Colourstart Passport will confidentially store your records. If your colourstart passport gives you a big fat green tick, we are good to colour your hair. The patch must be used at least 5 days before your colour appointment. The colourstart passport is yours and can be used in any registered colourstart salon.
Unfortunately, Remix cannot provide a colouring service to any client that are unable to fulfil requirements of either test A or B.
